Dr. Lester Beste
Dr. Les Beste is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. Following undergraduate education at the University of North Dakota he graduated Dental School at Northwestern University. He completed residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Chicago in 1978. He then began private practice in the southern suburbs of Chicago while teaching as a clinical instructor at the University of Chicago through 1986. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition Dr. Beste belongs to many local regional and national societies and organizations.
Dr. Beste has been on staff at Ingalls, St. James and South Suburban hospitals since 1978. In private practice he performs a wide variety of procedures to include anesthesia, extractions of teeth, placement of implants, biopsies, bone and soft tissue grafting, facial reconstruction, facial trauma, and facial pain treatment.
Dr. Beste has a son, Sean, and a daughter, Emily. His wife, Cheryl, is a wild life rehabilitator. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and flying. His primary goal in life is "Leave the world a better place".
